Navigation equipment:
Sextant, Radar, GPS, Loran, and all other "aids" to navigation

Experience As Captain:
Traversed all of the Windward and Leeward Islands. From
Grenada to St Martin. And from St Martin to Bermuda and on to Long Island, N.Y.
From Antigua to the Abaco Islands, Bahamas. From Tortola to St Barts.
From St Croix to the Dominican Republic. And other combination trips through
the Virgin Islands and Bahamas. From Great Inagua to Hope Town.
All of East, South, and West, Puerto Rico.
ICW and Off Shore from South Florida to Montreal, Canada by way of The Hudson River,
Lake Champlain, Chambly Canal and St Lawrence River.
Inland Waterway from New York to Marathon in the Keys
through The Gulf of Mexico to Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Also have made the passage from Ft Pierce, Florida through Lake Okeechobee
to Ft Myers and beyond. Off shore from The B.V.I. to St George's, Bermuda
to Port Washington, N.Y. and Charleston, SC to the the Keys.

In addition to the experience listed above, I provided my services in yacht
maintenance here in West Palm where I maintained boats for our snowbird
friends from up North who would bring their boats to South Florida and leave them.

I changed oil, repaired heads, and cleaned AC strainers. Flushed out various systems
such as AC lines. Kept the boats cleaned inside and out including waxing. I have
repaired awnings, and performed general preventive maintenance, which is essential.
I’m familiar with diesels engines, which includes the Detroit D Deck system and generators.
I’m familiar with sailboards, outboards, canoes, inflatables, and jet skis. I’ve run offshore
fishing boats and baited the kids hook. And for those same kids found the Sponge Bob
channel on the Sat. TV. I have, on smaller boats where there was no mate, washed
clothes, made beds and cooked.

In other words I've been a nanny, a bartender, a butler, a plumber, a maid, a mechanic,
a chef, a chauffeur, an exterminator, an entertainer, and when necessary backed a boat into
a slip with only inches on each side.
